RORONOA ZORO
Known by the title of Pirate Hunter, Zoro is Luffy’s first mate and the second strongest member of the crew. He presents himself as one of the best important characters in the Anime.
Born in the East Blue his lineage stems all the back to Wano country. Zoro is presented as an elder brother figure as well as a traditional samurai person evidenced by his cool and calm persona and above all being a swordsman.

NAMI
Nami or infamously known as cat burglar Nami is the navigator and finance manager of the straw hat pirates. She is one of two persons Luffy fears and respects the most second only to his Monkey D. Garp.
Nami is a money-loving but kind person, making sure that Luffy remains under control and does not create trouble for the rest of the crew. Nami is displayed as an ambitious character as one of her dreams was to create a map of the entire world.
She is not physically strong but covers up for that with her intelligence and clever way of fighting. She joined Straw Hat initially, to rob resources from them to recover her village from Arlong pirates, for whom she worked earlier.
Luffy after knowing about the incident that happened to Nami, went to war with Arlong pirates and was successful in defeating them.

USOPP
Usopp was the third member to join Straw Hat pirates, often easily distinguishable because of his long piece. Usopp was born and raised in Syrup Village. He is the son of Yassop (a Member of the Red hair pirates) and Banchina.
He is often used for comic relief but this does not mean that he is any less important to the crew. Usopp on multiple occasions has saved his fellow straw hats even when they outpower him in strength.

His strength has landed him the title of “black leg “. He is very perverted but will always protect the people he cares about. He is among the top fighters of the crew and is known to be a part of the Monster Trio.
Sanji has been seen taking center stage on multiple occasions like the whole cake island arc. Sanji’s dream is to find the “All Blue” which is where East Blue, West Blue, North Blue, and South Blue meet, along with their rich Sealife.

TONY TONY CHOPPER
Chopper is the cutest and sweetest member of the straw hat pirates. Chopper is a reindeer who ate the human-human fruit. His dream is to one day become a doctor who can cure all diseases.
Chopper is the ship’s doctor and has been given the title of “Cotton Candy Lover” and is not seen as a major threat by the world government. He was successful in becoming a doctor because of Doctor Hiriluk and Doctor Kureha.
Even though Chopper does not like fighting, if needed he can use his various modes (points) like kung-fu points and monster points. One such notable ability he has is that he can transform himself into three forms: a human, a human-reindeer hybrid, or his default form.
NICO ROBIN
Introduced to us as a villain (miss all Sunday) Robin has certainly come a long way since the Arabasta saga. Robin is the archaeologist of the straw hats and one of the few people in the world who can decipher the language written on the Poneglyphs.
Robin is the sole survivor of “Ohara” a place destroyed by the world government for trying to find out about the history of the lost century. She was considered a threat by the government, who can destroy the world.
Robin ate the Hana Hana no mi which gives her the ability to sprout parts of her body from almost anywhere and anything. Robin before joining straw hat was in the Baroque work organization being one of the members of Sir Crocodile’s crew.

FRANKY
Franky is the straw hat shipwright. He is extremely intelligent and quirky. He has installed many enhancements in his body eventually getting the title of “Cyborg”.

Jinbe is the newest member of the straw hats and is the Helmsman of the crew. Being a fish-man, he is extremely good at swimming and can manipulate water with the help of his mastery over Fish-man Karate.

After the death of Kozuki Oden, she was influenced by his character so much so that she started impersonating him and wanted to become an Oden.
Yamato also has immense capabilities and great powers. She was assumed to have exercised equal strength to that Luffy.

The Going Merry
The Going Merry also known as Merry was the first ship that was owned by the Straw Pirates. It was gifted to the Straw hats after they defended Syrup Village against the Black Cat Pirates. Merry eventually retired after the Water 7 arc as it became unrepairable.
After the straw hat pirates escaped Enies Lobby, the ship was given a farewell. The damage that was incurred by Merry was unrecoverable, thus making the pirates abandon the ship.
The Thousand Sunny
Sunny was the second ship that is used by the straw hat pirates. It is the current ship of Straw hats. It was built by Franky using Adam wood making it extremely durable.
It is twice the size of the going merry ship. Sunny had all the features that the straw hat pirates wanted. It also has extreme durability.
GRAND FLEET
After the end of Dressrosa, many smaller pirate groups came together and pledge their allegiance to Luffy, thus becoming his subordinates and forming the Grand Fleet.
