I can very well assure you that when this movie hit the theaters, it will be a massacre of all the records of every box office. Sources say that this movie is going to be the biggest till now of the marvel cinematic universe.

Avengers: Secret Wars release date
At San Diego Comic-Con 2022, Marvel Studios originally revealed a release date of November 7, 2025, for Avengers: Secret Wars; however, this date was later pushed back to May 1st, 2026 due to several reasons that should not cause concern.
The primary one is creating more distance between each Avengers film; at their original release date there would only have been one year between Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Secret Wars.
Marvel had big plans for Phase 6 when we learned during Comic-Con 2022 of their plans. The Kang Dynasty was initially scheduled to debut on May 2nd, 2025 and Secret Wars would follow a half year later on November 7th, 2025.
Marvel has since announced some changes to their schedule. Kang Dynasty will hit theaters on May 2, 2025, and Secret Wars follows one year later on May 1st, 2026 – both are Avengers films set for six-month intervals.
While it can be exciting having two Avengers films out within six months of each other, it might be beneficial for us all to have a year off after Avengers five for some much-needed rest and reflection.
“When we were doing Phase 1, Phase 2, and Phase 3, there were fewer projects spread out over more years,” Feige previously explained about the six years between Avengers: Endgame and the next Avengers film.
“These smaller projects focused on individual character stories, so it felt appropriate that after every two or three years that it took for a phase, an Avengers movie would come out.”
Marvel boss also noted the increased availability of Marvel and MCU shows on Disney Plus, which could potentially reduce the need for a new Avengers film each year – this makes sense considering Avengers stars Hawkeye, Wanda, and Loki were each given their show on Disney Plus.
Furthermore, each Disney Plus show has created an atmosphere for lore and canon which are officially part of the MCU and eventually make their way into larger film productions.
What Is The Plot of Avengers: Secret Wars?
So far, we know Avengers: Secret Wars is expected to be the concluding installment in Phase 6 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and an enormous deal compared to Avengers: Endgame.
Before we dive in deeper, let us first take a look at Secret Wars in comic books: it was originally published as twelve issues between 1984 and 1985; later expanded upon with two additional issues released in 2015-2016 by Marvel Studios. I hope they make all that waiting worthwhile!

Marvel Studios may take inspiration from comics for the plot of Avengers: Secret Wars. If they do, The Beyonder, a cosmic entity summoning both Superheroes and Villains alike to Planet Battleworld, could likely serve as the villain.
Here’s The Beyonder’s line from Secret Wars comics: “I am Beyond! Take on your foes and all you’ve ever wanted will be yours! Nothing is beyond my ability to achieve!” So that should give an idea of the plotline in Avengers: Secret Wars should they draw inspiration from comics as many fans hope they do?
Heroes in Marvel comics tend to be the Avengers and sometimes Supervillains such as Galactus or Doctor Doom (if we’re lucky). Doctor Doom in particular has been one of the characters avid fans have been waiting for since his appearance in comics due to his significance and ability to unleash destruction upon enemies.
It will be interesting to see which characters make it to Battleworld and who emerges victorious by eliminating their adversaries; understanding that there are always losers in these battles makes watching Avengers: The Secret Wars even more enjoyable!
Who’s In the Cast of Avengers: Secret Wars?
We anticipate that most of Marvel Cinematic Universe’s main characters will make at least a minor appearance in Avengers: Secret Wars; however, only a select few have been confirmed so far. While these characters will likely be safeguarded in their upcoming films, others may or may not make it to the end of Phase 6’s final chapter.
We know that Jonathan Majors will return as Kang the Conquerer alongside Kathryn Newton as Cassie Lang. Though it remains uncertain which character(s) from Avengers: Secret Wars will make it to the end.
Kang, who serves as both primary antagonists in the film, is expected to have a significant influence on Avengers: Secret Wars.
Along with Ant-Man-related cast members, many major stars are returning for another round of filming: Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Anthony Mackie as Captain America, and Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange.
Many familiar names appear on Avengers casting lists, but we may also see some lesser-known actors in the mix.
